Hiya! I’m Justice van Ausdal - the homeopath behind Amapola Homeopathy. I fell in love with homeopathy after serendipitously finding my way to a homeopathic first aid course several years ago. Since then I have had the pleasure and honor to have learned from several homeopaths and other holistic practitioners - Anne Vervarcke, Leslie Alexander, Gaurang Gaikwad, Sajah Popham, Tim Shannon, Bernadette Bekker, and others. I am perpetually amazed by the complexity and depth of this system of care and find it a privilege to be an eternal student of it.
When my nose isn’t buried behind a book, you can find me bumbling about the kitchen, at the seaside, or even - on occasion - behind a loom.
It is with the fullest and happiest of hearts that I look forward to connecting and walking alongside you towards a deeper sense of well-being.

Homeopathy is a system of holistic care that seeks to strengthen and nourish your vital force through energetic remedies.
We’ll begin with an extended conversation where we discuss your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. According to the information we’ve covered in our session, I will then select remedies which are completely individualised for you.
I am very eclectic in my approach to homeopathy, and thus, I may use Polarity Analysis, the Triad Method, Narayani remedies, or some other approach. I may also incorporate flower essences, as well as medicinal herbs (both in material doses and in homeopathic potency) depending on each client’s needs and goals.

Homeobotanicals are an amazing and lovely cross between herbal therapies and homeopathy, combining the gentle, energetic approach of homeopathy with the nourishing and balancing (and magical!) qualities of plants.
Initially created to make herbal medicine more affordable, accessible, and sustainable, many practitioners now work with homeobotanicals as a central part of, or adjunct to, their practice. This system of care is a deep yet gentle way of tending to your overall wellness.

You can reschedule your appointment up to one (1) hour before your scheduled time without incurring a fee; anytime after that will incur a fee of 100% of your appointment cost.
You can cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled time for no fee.
Appointments cancelled between 12 and 24 hours before your scheduled time will incur a fee of 50% of your appointment cost.
Appointments cancelled less than 12 hours before your scheduled time will incur a fee of 100% of your appointment cost.
All refunds will be issued to the card or payment method used to book your appointment.

Intakes for new clients last about 1 hr and 45 minutes and cost $135.
Returning client follow-ups last about 45 minutes and cost $90.
Focused consults last about 45 minutes and cost $80.
The above fees cover both the remedies and shipping.
If the price of a session is a concern, I am more than happy to discuss sliding scale or payment plan options. Please know financial status and money should not be an impediment to us working together.
